Steve Izzi, of Northeast Executive Abstract, enjoyed a day of golfing with friends and clients at the St. Charles Borromeo Seminary’s 8th Annual Golf Classic presented by JJ White, Inc. Proceeds from the event supported the formation of seminarians or future priests. The golf event took place at two golf clubs: Philadelphia Country Club and Gulph Mills Golf Club.
Steve Izzi attended as a Board Member and spent the day with clients and friends, including Nick Caniglia of Pierce, Caniglia, Taylor law office, Pat Kain, and Nicole Caniglia of Birch Benefits.
This event allows Northeast Executive Abstract to stay involved in their community and support Catholic education. We are proud supporters of St. Charles Borromeo Seminary and all they do for the community!
The Event
The day began with a shotgun start at 11:00 a.m. The 8th Annual Golf Classic occurred at two historic golf clubs, Philadelphia Country Club and Gulph Mills Golf Club. Golfers enjoyed lunch, cocktails, an auction, and an awards dinner after their round of golf on the scenic course.
Proceeds Support Seminarians
All proceeds from the event support seminarian formation and education for men discerning their call to ministry in the Catholic Church. The program aims to guide the seminarian through his human formation, spiritual development, and intellectual growth.
The event is an opportunity for Northeast Executive Abstract to stay involved in their community and support Catholic education. It also serves as a way for them to contribute to the growth of future priests!
Historic Golf Clubs
St. Charles Borromeo Seminary, on their website, described the two golf clubs the event took place at as “historic.” The first, Philadelphia Country Club, was founded in 1890. They describe their community as being “guided by the values of integrity and mutual respect,” and they focus on providing hospitality as well as cultivating a sense of belonging.
To date, this is considered among the best golf clubs in the state of Pennsylvania. This is also the case with the second golf club, Gulph Mills Golf Club. Founded in 1916, the club is devoted to “friendship, camaraderie, and an appreciation of the game of golf.”
Each of the guests enjoyed their time at both golf clubs, including Steve Izzi, who attended the event with Nick Caniglia of the law office of Pierce, Caniglia, Taylor and Pat Kain, and Nicole Caniglia of Birch Benefits, as well as other friends and clients.
